FERNNS:
Nature Assisted Therapy with
John Fletcher
FERNNS is being offered by John B. Fletcher Counselling & Consulting in partnership with New Tide Counselling & Consulting and is funded by Public Safety Canada’s Building Safer Communities Fund.
John combines his expertise as a counselling therapist with his background as an educator to offer the 10-hour FERNNS Nature & Animal-Assisted Psychotherapy Program. This innovative program emphasises the six universal pillars of mental health: Family, Exercise, Rest, Nature, Nutrition, and Stress.
Participants will engage in immersive activities that integrate nature and animal-assisted therapy, fostering a deeper connection to the natural world and exploring its benefits for mental well-being. Each session is designed to highlight the significance of each pillar in promoting a balanced and healthy lifestyle.
