Cydne McLaughlin (Counselling Intern)
Cydne is a student intern completing her Master of Counselling at Athabasca University and holds a Bachelor of Arts and Science from the University of Lethbridge. Cydne has over 10 years of experience in the helping profession working with youth, young adults, and adults with mental health and substance use concerns. She currently works with adult clients in a correctional institution. Cydne offers a safe, trauma-informed, empathetic, and non-judgemental environment to clients of all genders and backgrounds who are seeking support with life’s challenges.
Cydne uses a variety of therapeutic interventions rooted in cognitive, behavioural, and mindfulness strategies. Cydne can work with clients aged 16 and up. She can help with a variety of mental health concerns including substance dependence, anxiety, depression, emotion regulation, stress management, etc.
As an intern, Cydne is offering a reduced rate of $50/session. Her services are covered by some insurance plans but please consult yours first before booking.
